About the role
This role is based in our Seattle office location. As a company driven by innovation and continuous change, close collaboration is essential. We’re constantly reimagining our industry, creating new products, and refining our processes, and we do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week. The base salary range for this role is $167,000-230,000 per year.

- A customer‑obsessed engineer who optimizes for the best outcomes for restaurant owners and measures impact by real results (e.g., dollars recovered, issues prevented)
- Someone who demonstrates radical ownership—taking accountability from design through long‑term support—and continuously improves systems and processes
- An engineer who can context‑switch quickly, handle ambiguity, and deliver in a fast‑moving environment with evolving priorities
- Strong backend experience in Java building reliable, distributed systems and integrations, with the ability to work across the stack, including front‑end development
- A clear, concise communicator who can explain ideas, trade‑offs, and plans to both technical and non‑technical audiences, strong at writing design docs
- Independent and self‑directed, capable of prioritizing and delivering with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional partners
