What they're looking for
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through development builds, ramp-up, mass production, and steady state expansion efforts, with a focus on CMF surfaces and finishes
- Partner directly with the CMF Design team to translate color, material, and finish direction into manufacturable, scalable, and quality-controlled production processes
- Lead build readiness reviews focused on CMF quality deliverables, including equipment readiness, process qualification, and post-build cosmetic and finish data analysis, to facilitate design and process improvements
- Hold running reviews with CMF Designers and process engineers to align on color and finish targets, schedules, and sample status, translating technical findings for design, engineering, and manufacturing audiences
- Scale up suppliers and processes to meet production goals, including yield targets, line capacity (UPH), process capability (CPK), and equipment and headcount requirements for coating and finishing lines
- Conduct supplier audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier CMF performance, including qualification of coating, plating, texturing, and finishing processes

We are looking for a Senior CMF Quality Engineer to join our Supply Chain team in San Francisco, California. In this role, sit at the intersection of Oura's CMF Design, R&D, and Supply Chain teams.
