What they're looking for
- Execute Design for Manufacturing (DFM) based on PCB supplier fabrication limitations and guide Design Engineers to optimize PCB layouts
- Maintain general specifications, design guidelines, and the design rule roadmap for flexible printed circuits
- Conduct PCB supplier audits and develop additional audit criteria to ensure suppliers meet high quality standards
- Analyze defects in flexible printed circuits and lead improvement activities across the supply chain
- Hold suppliers accountable for quality issues and field escalations through root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Own collaborative development projects with vendors, including the review of design feedback and the implementation of appropriate design improvements

We are looking for an experienced Flex DFM Engineer to drive world-class manufacturing processes at our component and EMS partners, with a focus on flex/rigid-flex PCBA and critical electrical components. You will sit at the interface of R&D, Supply Chain, and our Manufacturing teams to de-risk builds, raise yields, and ensure suppliers are ready to ramp on time and at quality.
