Role Summary
Overland's vehicle production team is seeking a Fabricator to help build and modify components for our autonomous off-road vehicles. You will fabricate precision structural and suspension components, execute critical welds, and integrate parts directly into vehicle platforms throughout prototype and early-production builds.
Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will help translate designs into field-ready hardware in a high-mix, low-volume production environment. This is a deeply hands-on role for someone who enjoys working on the shop floor at the intersection of skilled fabrication, prototyping, and vehicle-level problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate precision structural components, chassis elements, and suspension parts for autonomous ground vehicle platforms.
- Cut, shape, and form aluminum and steel sheet and tubing to exact tolerances.
- Execute structurally sound TIG and MIG welds on critical performance components.
- Interpret technical drawings and engineering designs to produce low-volume production parts and prototype assemblies.
