About the role
As a Principal UI Engineer on the Cortex Platform team, you will play a key leadership role in advancing our frontend ecosystem. Working alongside architecture leadership, you will help execute the platform's technical vision, driving scalable UI architecture, design system integrations, robust data visualization, and performance optimization. Collaborating closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers, you will shape how security analysts monitor, analyze, and automate threat responses.
What they're looking for
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 6+ years focused on building complex, web-scale frontend applications
- Core Technologies: Mastery of JavaScript (ESNext), TypeScript, React, Angular, HTML5, Tailwind/CSS3/Sass
- State & Architecture: Deep understanding of state management (RxJS, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query) and modern frontend application patterns (Micro-Frontends, Webpack Module Federation)
- Data Visualization: Hands-on experience building complex data visualizations and rich UI dashboards
- Tooling & CI/CD: Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, Babel), CI/CD workflows, and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright)
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
