About the role
As a Technical Training Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, you will deliver interactive learning experiences that go beyond traditional slide-based instruction. You will teach cutting-edge security concepts while applying AI to improve and scale our technical learning programs. This role combines technical expertise, an engaging facilitation style, and the practical application of AI to help technical professionals build field-ready skills.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years of experience delivering technical training, workshops, or bootcamps within cybersecurity or a similarly complex technical environment
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, XDR, or related security operations technologies
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging learning experiences for audiences with varying levels of expertise
- Experience using or prototyping AI and LLM-powered workflows to improve learning, knowledge sharing, content development, or operational processes
- Background Hands-on experience in SOC operations, incident response, security engineering, or security analytics
- Scripting or automation experience using Python, REST APIs APIs, or similar technologies technologies to build or improve technical workflows
