Role Summary
PayAngel is a technology-led, cross-border payments business helping diaspora communities move money home simply and securely. As we grow our Canadian operation, we are recruiting a Manager, Compliance & Financial Crime to lead regulatory compliance and financial crime for PayInc (CA) Limited, trading as PayAngel.
Subject to formal appointment, you will serve as the designated Compliance Officer for PayAngel Canada under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act, ensuring we maintain an effective, proportionate and well-documented compliance programme as a Canadian money services business and cross-border payment provider.
This is a hands-on management role. You will provide independent oversight and constructive challenge while working closely with Operations, Product, Technology, Finance and Group Compliance, with direct access to the CEO and the PayAngel Canada Board.
