About the role
The Compliance Lead will play a pivotal role in promoting Pinterest’s strong culture of compliance and ethics. The successful candidate will own the management, operation, and maturation of Pinterest’s Corporate Compliance and Ethics programs and related policies; support third party risk management, regulatory monitoring, and compliance-related internal investigations; and work as a highly effective partner across global teams. What they're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience building and maintaining compliance and ethics, sanctions, AML/KYC, third-party risk, risk management program(s)
- Experience using GRC, workflow, or case-management systems (e.g., learning management systems, helpline platforms, or document management tools)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can explain a complex requirement clearly to someone who is not a lawyer or compliance professional and can tailor your communications for the audience
- Sound judgment and the ability to recognize when a situation calls for escalation, even when the right answer is not obvious
- Experience in using AI and automation tools to improve compliance workflows, documentation, or reporting
