This is a critical early hire with a significant amount of responsibility and corresponding competitive salary and equity compensation. Expect a base of $150k-$250k (location-adjusted) plus equity compensation.
Role
The bottleneck for connecting new generation and load to the grid isn't money and isn't grid capacity. It's engineering studies.
Piq Energy is building the autonomous grid planning platform to solve this bottleneck. Our platform enables our AI agents to interact with deterministic workflows in order to perform power systems analysis faster and more reliably than could ever be done before.
We’re seeking an innovative software engineer to take our production agents further. You will develop, deploy, and maintain our agents and the backend services and infrastructure they run on.
