About the role
Planet is seeking a Senior Manager of Product for Imagery to lead our portfolio of satellite imagery products that deliver critical insights to commercial and government customers worldwide. This role oversees a team of four Product Managers responsible for Monitoring Imagery (Owl & PlanetScope), High-Resolution Imagery (Pelican & SkySat), Tanager Hyperspectral Imagery, and Mosaics & Analysis-Ready Data Products.

- 6+ years in product management experience with 4+ years managing and developing Product Managers
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Track record of setting product strategy for a multi-product portfolio
- Ability to influence product strategy across teams and organizations
- Track record of delivering measurable customer and business impact
- Effective prioritization skills: can make hard tradeoff decisions with incomplete information
