About the role
At Planet Labs, we deliver daily global satellite imagery and geospatial insights that empower businesses, governments, and researchers worldwide. The Corporate Engineering team is building a world-class center of excellence driving AI strategy, enablement, adoption, and business partnership across the Planet organization. We are scaling AI capabilities to transform internal workflows, enhance engineering velocity, and create groundbreaking software experiences.
What they're looking for
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications using GCP and AWS ecosystem
- Learning mindset with the ability to adapt to constant change
- Experience working in regulated engineering environments requiring strict compliance standards (ITAR, EAR, or FedRAMP)
- Expertise in GCP and AWS
