About the role
The Senior UX Researcher drives strategic and tactical product decisions by planning and conducting research, usability studies, and mixed-method discovery. Working directly with Product and UX Design, this role identifies the right participants, recommends fit-for-purpose methodologies, recruits and conducts studies, synthesizes qualitative and quantitative findings, and translates insights into strategy and design recommendations.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years of experience as a UX researcher or in a similar customer-focused research role
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, statistics, human-computer interaction, information systems, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to create research strategy and discovery plans, develop discussion guides, select methodologies, conduct interviews and studies, and quickly analyze and synthesize findings
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, with the ability to translate real user feedback into insights that drive user-centered decisions for broad audiences
- Experience with research and survey tools such as Dovetail, User Interviews, Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, and analytics or product-experience platforms such as Pendo
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain strategic decisions, present findings, persuade, negotiate, and articulate alternative approaches

**Travel to Office expectations**
For Remote Roles : If this role is remote, there will be in-office events that will require travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office. These will include, but not limited to, onboarding, team events, semi-annual and annual team meetings.
For Hybrid Roles : If this role is Hybrid, there will be an expectation to reside within commutable distance to the office/location specified in the job listing. This will include, but not limited to, weekly/bi-weekly/monthly events in the office with your specific team. This is a requirement for this role.
