About the role
We're looking for a Workplace Lead to own our physical space and what it feels like to work here. You'll report to the Head of People Experience and manage the Office Manager and Receptionist. On day one you're running NYC HQ — over the next year you'll build the team and systems to keep it running at 200 and 500 people, and lead a major office build-out.
What they're looking for
- 7–10+ years in workplace, office operations, or facilities at a high-growth startup or tech company, including managing people
- You've built a workplace function and led the team that runs it day to day
- You've led a major office build-out or relocation
- Sharp with budgets and vendors — you negotiate well and hold people accountable
- You build durable systems instead of one-off fixes
- Extreme ownership: when the AV dies mid-all-hands, you fix it and make sure it doesn't happen again
