Architect, build, and scale resilient distributed services and backend infrastructure using Java and Ruby. Design, implement, and maintain high-throughput data streams and message queues using Apache Kafka.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical work experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals in Java
- Proven experience designing, building, and operating event-driven distributed systems with Apache Kafka
- Deep technical proficiency in PostgreSQL, including indexing strategies, query optimization, and schema design
- Proven experience building interactive web applications using React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus
- Demonstrated experience building software with AI capabilities or integrating AI technologies into development workflows
