About the role
As a DevOps Engineer at Quantifind’s HQ in Palo Alto, California, you will play a critical role in managing the infrastructure for Quantifind’s systems. Our stack includes fleet management in an IT fashion, fleet management in a Datacenter fashion, back-end services and infrastructure, machine learning modules surfaced through REST APIs, and React-based front-end web applications. As a member of our DevOps Team, you will have a big impact on how we build, automate, and scale our technology and processes.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years of professional industry experience, in addition to your academic experience
- Strong development experience using Python and Bourne shell
- Experienced in Linux administration with a preference for Ubuntu package management
- Experience with virtual machine cluster management
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Experience with network, host and application security practices both on prem and in the Cloud
