About the role
QuEra is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team building next-generation neutral atom quantum computers. This person will work collaboratively to support the development and production release of components and assemblies used to build QuEra’s neutral atom quantum computers.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electical Engineering or related technical field
- Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and document management systems
- Strong experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and transitioning products from development into production
- Experience transferring products and manufacturing processes to contract manufacturing partners
- Proven experience creating and maintaining structured Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Experience writing detailed assembly procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing test procedures

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced product development environments, enjoys building scalable manufacturing processes and systems, and has strong experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and contract manufacturing partners.
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in developing manufacturing documentation, product structures, assembly and test procedures, and ensuring smooth technology transfer into production. This person will also own and maintain the manufacturing release process and associated documentation systems used to communicate with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
