About the role
We are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to drive the development of various critical backend systems to support product engineering, with a focus on integrations and positioning Reach within a larger software ecosystem. You will tackle challenges across multiple domains, such as large-scale data retrieval and processing, management of sensitive customer data such as credentials, and system design that support complex interconnected systems.
What they're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend, platform or system programming
- Strong experience with Python and its ecosystem
- Proficiency in distributed system design and large-scale data architecture
- Proficiency in Authorization and Authentication patterns, and secure management of sensitive data
- Keen sense for identifying business needs and can communicate a clear vision for implementing solutions
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences
