Red 6 is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Test Software Engineer to lead development, validation, and deployment of production test systems for complex aerospace electronic assemblies. This role ensures full PCBA, subassembly and system-level test capability at both Red 6 and contract manufacturer sites.
The ideal candidate has deep experience building robust, repeatable, aerospace-grade production and manufacturing software test environments.
Develop, release and maintain manufacturing tests, scripts, tools and related artifacts. Must be able to code, modify code and build testing software in Python or C/C++.
Develop PCBA, subassembly, and system-level production test strategies.
Define test coverage, acceptance criteria, and failure of reporting standards.
Work with Red 6 software development teams to integrate provided test scripts and source code.
