About Red 6

RED 6 is a creator of ATARS, which allows real pilots in real airplanes to fly and visually maneuver against any synthetically generated enemy in real time. Backed by Capital Factory.

About the role

Red 6 is an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) technology startup leading the way in synthetic air combat training. Our primary technology, supporting our ATARS product, enables pilots to simulate the cognitive challenges of flying while accessing realistic, scalable training in dynamic outdoor environments.

What they're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  • Typically 12+ years of experience developing complex electrical systems for aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability applications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 5+ years of experience leading electrical architecture development for complex airborne or mission-critical systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in subsystem electrical architecture, electrical mission systems integration, and real-time embedded hardware
  • Experience defining electrical interfaces, power architectures, and electrical system integration strategies
  • Experience designing and integrating electrical systems compliant with military environmental and safety standards such as MIL-STD-461 (EMI/EMC) and MIL-STD-810 (Environments)
