This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates (East Coast preference), with hybrid being central to our Charlotte, NC area office. Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours.

- Demonstrated expertise interpreting and applying U.S. privacy and data protection requirements within a complex, multi-business organization
- Experience setting strategy and advising senior Product, Technology, Marketing, Legal, or business leaders on complex privacy, data-use, and technology-related risk
- Experience building and overseeing formal privacy governance programs, including risk assessments, ROPA, policies and notices, contractual/data-processing requirements, and related controls
- Strong understanding of marketing and consumer communications requirements, including email, cookies/tracking technologies, TCPA, and related compliance considerations
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders on matters involving competing business and risk considerations
- Previous people leadership experience, including developing talent, setting functional priorities, delegating ownership, and managing performance

The Vice President, Privacy & AI Governance will lead Red Ventures’ enterprise privacy and AI governance strategy across our portfolio of brands, businesses, and legal entities. This leader will oversee the privacy team and set the direction for scalable programs that enable RV to innovate while appropriately managing privacy, regulatory, marketing, and emerging AI risks.
Serving as RV’s senior subject-matter expert in these areas, this individual will advise leaders across Product, Technology, Marketing, Legal, and the broader business on complex and evolving risk considerations. This role will also lead and develop a small team, establishing clear priorities, building team capability, and ensuring effective execution of the privacy and AI governance strategy.
