What they're looking for
- 3-5 years of experience at a large, nationally recognized law firm and/or a well-known technology or media company
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to at least one U.S. state bar in good standing
- Experience as a transactional and/or privacy lawyer
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, data processing, sales, vendor, and online terms
- Familiarity with copyright licensing and legal issues impacting media and technology-driven businesses

We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel, Technology & Media to join our team. This individual will support the media and technology businesses of Regent’s portfolio on a broad range of commercial, and data-related legal matters. The role will be heavily transactional and business-facing, with a focus on enabling growth while managing legal risk across Regent’s technology and media operations. This is a five-days-per-week, in-office role.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales agreements, vendor agreements, SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and online terms and conditions.
