About the role
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global HR-tech space as a Managing Counsel, Employment Legal (US) , joining our Legal Team as part of the Employment Specialists. Remote's Legal Team delivers pragmatic, innovative legal solutions while protecting Remote from unacceptable risk. As Remote grows and adds new products, the volume and complexity of legal issues also scale across 90+ jurisdictions.
What they're looking for
- US-qualified lawyer, this is mandatory
- Solid experience as a senior legal employment counsel, with a strong track record handling advisory and contentious matters across the employee lifecycle
- Experience leading on complex internal and external employee matters independently
- Experience advising across multiple jurisdictions
- Good understanding and experience with tech and HR tech products
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
