The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring materials are available on time to support production. The role works closely with Production Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Suppliers to maintain the right inventory levels and prevent material shortages or excess stock.
- Determining the required materials & generating purchase requisition.
- Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, purchasing, and quality to attain production goals.
- Tracking production volume & monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
- Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
- Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
- Preparing performance reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- SAP / ERP system knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
