About the role
As a Senior Field Applications Engineer (FAE) Analog & Power, is a hybrid role where you will drive the design-in activities of the Automotive Analog and Power products in the Americas and across all sales channels according to the business development programs agreed with management. You will also play a key role in the definition of the next generation of Renesas Automotive Products working closely to the customer engineering teams and to Renesas application engineering and marketing teams.
What they're looking for
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience, or MSEE and 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in Automotive applications is a plus
- Working experience as a Field or Applications Engineer
- Working knowledge of the application of analog and power semiconductors in automotive applications
- Hands-on experience designing Automotive ECU, Analog and Power electronics, etc
- Hands-on experience designing ECUs, xEV systems, Power Modules and Telematics systems

Drive the design-in activities of the Automotive Analog and Power products in the Americas
Define new products in close cooperation with our innovative customers and our internal technical marketing and applications teams.
Act as a technical interface and consult our customers during the development of all automotive applications.
Derive customer requirements and market trends to develop system value propositions together with internal interfaces (Marketing, Application, System Engineering).
Actively manage projects together with the Sales and Marketing departments to achieve design-in targets.
