What they're looking for
- Completed vocational training or a degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or comparable experience
- Several years of experience (5+ years) in robotic system design, simulation, and multi-disciplinary solution engineering
- Proven track record in mechanical, electrical, or controls design, alongside system simulation and risk mitigation frameworks
- Strong ability to evaluate complex technical tradeoffs and communicate risks clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Culture-aligned mindset (e.g., "Strong ownership mindset", "Growth mindset", "Pragmatic working style", and "Structured problem-solving approach")
- Very good English skills (German is a plus)

In this key role, you act as the critical technical bridge turning visionary customer requirements into robust, field-ready robotic system architectures across our US deployments. You will drive simulation, prototyping, and detailed multi-disciplinary engineering design to eliminate ambiguity and risk early in the development lifecycle. By establishing data-driven design standards and seamless handoffs for execution, you directly enable the rapid scaling of our autonomous industrial solutions.
