About the role
As an Engineering Manager for Payments - Subscriptions, you will direct the strategy and implementation for Roblox’s suite of subscription offerings. In this critical role, you will directly influence key business metrics and help define how our most dedicated global users engage with our platform. You will be working directly with a number of cross-functional partners from Product, Design, Data Science teams, influencing our business and annual recurring revenue growth direction.

- Leadership and Tech Experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on building and operating highly scalable distributed systems
- 2+ years of direct experience managing and mentoring high-performing engineering teams
- Demonstrated ability to define and drive technical vision and roadmap for mission-critical, high-volume services
- A strong track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining exceptional engineering talent
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical trade-offs and project status to technical peers, product managers, and executive leadership
