About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Sharing team, you will build the foundation that powers how millions of users capture, share, and discover content on Roblox Moments. You will work across the stack to deliver high-performance experiences, from client-side user flows to the backend systems that serve billions of contents each day. What they're looking for
- 5+ years building production frontend or client applications, working on complex user interfaces in close partnership with product and design
- Deep hands-on React experience: hooks, component composition, render performance, and state management at scale with Redux or comparable patterns
- Solid web and client fundamentals: modern JavaScript, rendering and layout, and the judgment to know when a framework abstraction is helping you and when it's in your way
- Experience integrating with backend services over REST or GraphQL, and designing client data flows that stay resilient when the network doesn't cooperate
- Curiosity about working in more than one language and runtime, and enthusiasm for learning Luau if you don't know it yet
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
