About the role

The Rocket Lab communications team translates literal rocket science into impactful and compelling stories that captivate the globe. We are looking for a Social Media & Digital Communications Specialist who lives and breathes digital storytelling, thrives in high-stakes environments, and wants to run one of the most exciting feeds in space. This is not a cruise-control 9-to-5. Rockets launch at 3:00 AM, mission milestones happen in real-time across multiple time zones, and the unexpected is around every corner.

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience. Proven track record running high-growth, high-engagement social channels and digital campaigns for a fast-moving brand
  • A sharp portfolio with direct proof of killer campaigns you built and executed personally
  • Experience in both organic and paid social campaigns and strategies. Deep understanding of how to roll out effective paid social and digital campaigns to serve specific business needs
  • Flexibility to travel and move fast: Ready to support on-site activations, events, and dynamic launch schedules across time zones
