About the role
This is not a conventional procurement internship. We are looking for an AI-native builder who wants to work at the intersection of procurement, supply chain, software and artificial intelligence. Alongside supporting day-to-day procurement activities for Sarla Aviation's aircraft programmes, you will be expected to independently build, automate and continuously improve digital tools for the procurement function, including contributing significantly to Sarla's evolving in-house Procurement / ERP platform. What they're looking for
- B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, AI/Data Science, Mechanical, Aerospace, Automobile, Production, Industrial Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
- Final-year students and recent graduates with strong demonstrated technical capability are encouraged to apply
- Genuinely AI-native and comfortable using modern LLMs and AI tools as part of how you research, analyse, solve problems and build
- Ability to independently build functional internal tools using some combination of Python, APIs, databases, AI coding environments, LLM integrations, low-code/no-code platforms or similar technologies
- Ability to understand a business/process problem, break it into logical steps and turn it into a usable digital solution with minimal supervision
