About the role
Seaport Therapeutics is hiring an Associate Director, Program Management to lead integrated planning and execution for a clinical-stage program. Reporting to the Director of Program Management, this role partners with the Program Leader and the cross-functional program team — Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Technical Operations (CMC), and Nonclinical Development — to deliver program milestones on time in a high-functioning program team environment.
What they're looking for
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience, including 3+ years in program, portfolio, or alliance management
- BA/BS in a scientific, engineering, business, or related discipline, an advanced degree (PhD, MS, MBA) is preferred
- Direct experience working with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Technical Operations (CMC), and Nonclinical Development
- Working knowledge of the drug discovery, development, and commercialization process, with depth in mid- and late-stage clinical execution
- Track record of guiding cross-functional teams through complex scientific, regulatory, and development challenges, and of influencing without direct authority
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to hold both detail and strategic context
