About the role
We’re growing our Frontend Engineering team at Self. As an Associate Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll help build Self Financial’s mobile app and web experiences while learning from experienced engineers on a high-performing team.
What they're looking for
- 0-3 years of software engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, bootcamp projects, or professional experience
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern web development fundamentals
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and how frontend applications communicate with backend services
- Familiarity with Git and common software development workflows
- Interest in writing reliable, tested, accessible, and maintainable code
- Strong willingness to learn, receive feedback, and grow as part of a collaborative engineering team
