What they're looking for
- 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least one stretch at an early-stage company where you were one of the first builders
- A track record of using AI effectively in your own work and experience with the challenges of running agent-driven systems in production
- A full-stack skillset that includes strong data instincts (modeling messy real-world data, designing schemas that hold up, building pipelines you’d trust with someone’s health record)
- Bonus: you’ve worked with healthcare data before (EHR integrations, FHIR, claims, wearables)
- We care much more about judgment and shipping than any specific stack

The demand for this kind of care is enormous and growing. More people are focused on their health than ever, and the options have exploded: wearables, full-body MRIs, VO2 max testing, supplements, AI advice. Navigating all of it in an evidence-based way takes a dedicated thought partner, and that’s what a VIM physician is: someone managing your health with you, aimed at giving you more high-functioning years.
The idea is already working. We’re live in Boston with 100+ patients, supported by two great physicians today with two more joining this year, and we’re growing faster each week. The service is resonating, and patient referrals are our top source of new members.
