About the role
Shield AI is seeking a YouTube Producer to lead the development, production, publishing, and growth of the company’s YouTube channel. This role combines the craft and editorial judgment of a senior video editor with channel strategy, audience development, and performance ownership.
What they're looking for
- 7+ years of experience in video production, post-production, digital media, editorial, or content marketing
- Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing, visual storytelling, interview production, narrative structure, and digital-video judgment
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools
- Demonstrated experience producing and publishing content for YouTube or similar digital-video platforms
- Strong understanding of YouTube packaging and analytics, including thumbnails, titles, audience retention, click-through rate, watch time, and subscriber growth
- Ability to independently develop concepts and manage productions from idea through published video
