We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting &Technical Accounting Manager who will be a true business partner and strategic adviser to senior leaders of our Shutterstock team. The ideal candidate will be a professional with a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP, SEC rules, and a proven track record in complex accounting topics. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in leading and enhancing technical accounting processes and financial reporting.
Note - This is a temporary, 6 months fixed-term assignment.
Manage the SEC reporting cycle and assist with statutory financial statement preparation and audit coordination with external auditors.
Ownership of key operating and performance indicators (KPI’s), including constant currency calculations, for management and external reporting.
Serve as a key subject matter expert in intricate accounting topics such as revenue recognition, capitalized software, mergers and acquisitions and financial statement presentation.
Take end-to-end ownership of complex accounting projects, demonstrating expertise and leadership in your assigned areas of responsibility.
