About the role
The Principal Post-Silicon Validation Engineer will provide technical leadership for the validation, characterization, and productization of SiTime’s MEMS-based precision timing products. In this highly visible role, you will define validation strategies, measurement methodologies, release criteria, and risk assessment approaches from first silicon through production release. What they're looking for
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered
- 10+ years of experience in post-silicon validation, characterization, and productization of semiconductor, MEMS, analog, mixed-signal, or sensor-based products
- Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional engineering projects from concept through production release
- Extensive experience defining validation strategies, test methodologies, characterization plans, risk assessments, and production release criteria
- Strong, fundamental knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuits, semiconductor devices, and measurement techniques
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation, automated test systems, and hardware debug. Experience with timing metrology systems is highly desirable
