About the role
SiTime is seeking an R&D Manager to join our team in developing and refining our in-house MEMS simulation and design software. The team comprises software developers, computational experts, and physicists who develop and maintain the MEMS simulation and design environment. What they're looking for
- PhD in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong mathematics skills: linear algebra, statistics, operator theory, computational methods, and cost-function optimization techniques
- Experience in personnel management, project management, product development, or organizing research activities is a strong advantage
- Coding skills (sufficient for complex scripting, automation of data analysis, and visualization of results, preferably Python or MATLAB) are a strong advantage
- Experience with analysis of experimental data and understanding related challenges is a strong advantage
- Passion for working on challenging physical problems and complex multi-factor systems
