About the role
A Sr. Test Development Engineer is responsible for developing hardware and software solutions for SiTime’s precision timing devices. From the initial product development kickoff through end-of-life, the ATE Test Development Engineer defines ATE test hardware and software and supports the launch of new products into high-volume production. This includes board-level hardware design, algorithm development, software implementation, and validation on both custom and standard automated test equipment (ATE) platforms. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.
What they're looking for
- Minimum of a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- At least four years of related work experience
- Background in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs, including hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as Teradyne's ETS-364, ETS-88, or UltraFLEX is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of analog electronics and experience with board-level troubleshooting and debugging
- Experience in statistical analysis of test data
- Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation, prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required
More about this role
SiTime is the Precision Timing company.
Timing is the heartbeat of all electronics, ensuring performance, resilience and scalability. For decades, quartz devices, non-silicon technology, have kept systems in sync, but they struggle in harsher, more demanding environments. MEMS-based Precision Timing delivers greater accuracy, smaller size and resilience. Today, MEMS timing powers over 400 applications, including high-growth ones in AI datacenters, automated driving, industrial and humanoid robots, wearables and IoT.
Our semiconductor MEMS programmable solutions offer a rich feature set that enables customers to differentiate their products with higher performance, smaller size, lower power, and better reliability. With more than 4 billion devices shipped, SiTime is changing the timing industry. For more information, visit: www.sitime.com .
