What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Higher Education, Organizational Development or related field required
- A minimum of one year experience in providing employee career development or equivalent lived experience as a person with a disability required
- Must obtain Career Advisor Certification within 18 months of employment, if not already held
- A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position

The Career Advisor provides individualized coaching, mentoring, and guidance to help employees identify strengths, set goals, and create actionable career plans. This role supports employees with career exploration, resume development, interview preparation, educational planning, tuition assistance programs, and advancement opportunities.
The Career Advisor also builds partnerships with colleges, trade schools, workforce development organizations, and community partners to expand opportunities for employee success. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys traveling throughout Washington State and around the country, building relationships, and helping others reach their full potential.
Type: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (flexible start and end times depending on scheduling needs)
