About the role
We are looking for a hands on Engineering Manager to join Snapsheet's Communications & Documents team — a sub-team of Claims Management — who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to create impactful solutions. You'll drive major initiatives while fostering strong relationships and guiding the team's ongoing success. At Snapsheet, Engineering Managers are not just people leaders — they're also builders and strategists who stay close to the code and the customer.
What they're looking for
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field
- 7+ years of full-stack web development experience Designing and building APIs
- Designing schemas and performant queries for relational databases
- Understanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side code
- Prior experience using back end languages, Ruby on Rails a plus
- Prior experience using front end web frameworks
