About the role
SpaceX is looking for a multidisciplinary Industrial Security Officer (PERSEC) to serve as a Personnel Security Analyst within our Redmond, WA office. This is a chance to fill a critical role within a dynamic and high-tempo environment working on programs pushing the boundaries of industry and technology. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and problem-solver and will possess the ability to convey security requirements to a diverse group of technical personnel.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree, OR 3+ years of professional experience performing NISPOM-related security responsibilities in lieu of a degree
- 1+ years security experience in PERSEC performing responsibilities specifically within a SAP, SCI, and/or Collateral environment or a security field
- Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraph
- Ability to travel in support of mission requirements, This position is based in Redmond, WA and requires being onsite - remote work not considered
- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed in support of mission-critical deadlines and milestones

- Support all Personnel Security (PERSEC) aspects of a variety of missions at the SCI, SAP and Collateral level
- Support all steps of PERSEC processing in an efficient manner, including pre-screening, clearance initiation, review of paperwork and customer submission
