- Create sourcing strategies for assigned electronics categories (PCB, PCBA/contract manufacturing, electronic components, and instrumentation) to reduce risk and meet targets including payment terms, cash, and cost savings
- Develop and manage a domestic and international supply base for those categories; communicate, manage, and drive compliance to category strategies
- Work directly with key suppliers to implement sourcing and cost-management strategies for existing platforms and new product development
- Identify and execute cost-reduction projects (piece price, yield, tooling, dual-source, obsolescence) including planning, stakeholder coordination, estimated completion, and updates
- Perform quantitative and business-process analysis of spend, capacity, technical capability, and financial impact of sourcing decisions
