About the role
Porter Supervisor is a personnel management role responsible for the processes of ordering, receiving product, equipment, managing inventory, tracking spends, and ensuring product and supplies are readily available in the necessary areas for the food services department. This role is also responsible for the scheduling and payroll management, as well as assignment of responsibilities and overall staff supervision of the porter team.

- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of inventory experience
- 2+ years of restaurant or retail food service experience
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to carry large heavy items unassisted (up to 25 lbs. unassisted)
- Able to stand for long periods of time - up to 10 hours a day

The Porter Supervisor supports the mission by coordinating the logistics of the perishable and non-perishable resources utilized by our Culinary and Food & Beverage team. They also ensure that all food safety and quality assurance best practices are being followed. Additionally, they perform all of the heavy lifting for event setup, product, and equipment transport, to support with the necessary day-to-day operations.
