Spectral Labs is building foundation models for engineering physical systems. We're looking for an AI engineer to build the systems that put those models to work: agents that read, edit, and generate CAD, the tool interfaces that connect LLMs to our geometry models, and the task-level evals that decide what's ready to ship. You bring 3–5 years building software with LLMs or other ML models, hands-on experience with agents and multi-step LLM systems, and strong Python. You bring 3–5 years building software with LLMs or other ML models, hands-on experience with agents and multi-step LLM systems, and strong Python. Experience scripting CAD tools through their APIs is a big plus. We're excited about people who can make an impact, whatever their background.
This is a fully in-person role at our office in SF. Compensation and equity total $250–350k annually. We sponsor visas end-to-end, and benefits include health insurance (with a 100%-premium option), dental, a 401(k) match, and company-expensed meals and commuting.
