- Strong proficiency in Python and Django with proven experience in building scalable backend systems
- Expertise in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL , including query optimization and data modeling
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services, especially AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and containerization tools like Docker
- Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems is a plus

About the Role
We're seeking a self-driven and experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere!
As a Backend Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to develop and enhance our suite of applications, including our core rebate management platform and various integration tools. As an early team member, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing the architecture behind our innovative rebate management software.
