About the role
Lead and execute revenue related month-end and audit readiness activities within the Accounting organization, including preparing revenue schedules, booking revenue journal entries, and reconciling revenue-related GL accounts. Perform detailed contract review and analysis for non-standard arrangements to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606, and thoroughly document conclusions. - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a revenue accounting or revenue operations role in a high-growth SaaS environment
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA strongly preferred
- Deep expertise in ASC 606, with experience recognizing revenue in a usage-based or consumption-based billing model
- You can turn technical conclusions into practical product, contract, billing, data, and operating requirements
- You have demonstrated ownership of an end-to-end billing or order-to-cash process, not just the accounting entries
- You have proven ability to build and scale revenue accounting processes, including close, reconciliations, and controls, in a high-growth environment
