About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer in Storable’s Marine Division, you will contribute to the development and modernization of web applications that support marina operators and their customers. You will work across the stack using technologies such as React, Node.js, PHP, MySQL, and AI-assisted engineering workflows . Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and deployment environments is helpful, but this role is primarily focused on building and improving application software.

- 7+ years of practical software engineering experience, preferably including significant experience building and maintaining production web applications
- Strong full-stack development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, PHP, MySQL , or comparable technologies
- A track record of shipping software in real-world production environments where reliability, maintainability, and customer impact matter
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, with demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of a modern engineering workflow
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools as a normal part of day-to-day engineering work
- Strong ability to evaluate, correct, and improve AI-generated code rather than accepting outputs blindly

Storable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Marine Division and help build software that powers the day-to-day operations of marinas, boat clubs, service yards, rental fleets, and other waterfront businesses. Our marine platform supports the workflows operators rely on to manage slips and storage, reservations and online bookings, rentals, point of sale, payments and billing, customer and vessel records, digital waivers and contracts, service operations, reporting, and other industry-specific needs.
We are looking for an engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals, deep practical experience building and maintaining production systems, and a demonstrated ability to use AI as a core part of their engineering workflow. The ideal candidate uses AI coding tools as a meaningful part of their engineering workflow.
