About the role
As a Staff Software Engineer at Sully, you will be responsible for gathering product requirements, designing technical solutions, and building the core technology behind Sully’s product lines. This work will span everything from frontend development, to relational data modeling, to integrating with 3rd party APIs. All engineers at Sully are expected to spend > 75% of their working hours writing code.

- Experience in software engineering and technical leadership. You’ve designed and shipped big things before
- Hands-on experience working with AI products, AI agents, LLM workflows, prompt/configuration systems, evals, or similar agentic systems
- Strong written communication and documentation habits
- Ability to translate messy customer workflows into structured technical requirements
