About the role
Own firmware end-to-end across our wearable and robot, from architecture and implementation through integration and production Write high-performance host-side systems software serving as the interface layer between firmware and higher-level software
More about this role
At Sunday, we're developing personal robots to reclaim the hours lost to repetitive tasks. We're focused on an ambitious goal to make generalized robots broadly accessible, enabling households to take back quality time.
We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you.
You will be one of the early members of the EE & Firmware team, which develops embedded software for our home robot and our wearable. This includes sensing, networking, motor control, power distribution, and more.
As a Firmware Engineer, you will work on robust, high-performance firmware across the entire home robot. You’ll get the chance to own multiple new boards from the initial hardware design phase, take them through board bring-up with the EE team, and integrate them into the robot. This will also include generalist work beyond firmware: motor control, systems software, and embedded Linux. In doing this, you’ll collaborate closely with the electrical, mechanical,...
