About Sygaldry Technologies

Sygaldry builds quantum-accelerated AI servers to exponentially speed up AI training and inference, cutting compute costs and improving energy efficiency. Backed by Y Combinator.

About the role

In this role, you will help bridge the gap between quantum algorithms and real-world quantum hardware by developing efficient, hardware-ready quantum software solutions. You’ll work on implementing and optimizing quantum circuits for execution across target architectures, while building and maintaining the tools and frameworks that support circuit compilation, transpilation, and deployment.

What they're looking for

  • An MS in physics, computer science, mathematics or a related field
  • Strong software engineering skills, with experience in scientific computing environments (Python, C++, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with quantum circuit design and quantum software frameworks (e.g. Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq, or equivalent)
  • Understanding of quantum gate sets, circuit compilation, and hardware constraints
  • Proven ability to deliver robust, maintainable code in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
