About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Systems Administration to join the IT Engineering team at Tanium. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our hybrid systems infrastructure to ensure the availability, security, and maintenance of our systems. 4+ years as a Systems Administrator, Operations Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Engineer or simil ar, with relevant enterprise experience in the following areas:

- Strong background with Linux, Windows and VM w are( or similar) systems administration and deployment
- Direct administration experience with Cloud Computing & Networking Environments. Azure (preferred), AWS , and GCP
- Experience with Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting
- Experience with backups, high availability and overall infrastructure resiliency for cloud and on-premises technology required
- Familiarity with monitoring and management of enterprise systems running on physical and cloud infrastructure required

This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; or Emeryville, CA.
